FACILITY & TECHNOLOGY
Utilising TrackMan 4 with its dual radar system and impact location, allows us to show golfers clear and accurate ball flight data as well as swing and club head data to make an informed decision and develop and understanding of why the ball behaves a certain way. This level of technology is renowned as the very best on the market and gives us information better than any other product available. In addition, with highly trained staff, we are able to determine the best product for golfers.
We do not hold stock; we are fitters. We fit the client with what is right for them and then we order the product for the client to their specification. We price match other retailers so it’s not about price or selling certain brands, we fit what is best for the client.
The benefit of our fitting centre is we have all the brands with huge fitting options. Why only try one brand when you can try them all? Why not have the best equipment for data, qualified fitters giving you the best service available in the area?
We have the Mizuno Swing DNA Shaft Optimiser, which can be attached to any club head in the Mizuno range. Using strain gauges throughout the shaft to record how you move the shaft during the swing. After 3 swings we then have a list of the top ten most compatible shafts in suitability order. This technology is cutting edge and very effective.
Most golfers are surprised how similar each of their swings are. Meaning impact location plays a huge part in improving results and one of the reasons why shaft selection is so important.
Another example is the Ping fitting system. Using a colour coded chart for length and lie angle, we can get a great starting point for the fitting with some static measurements. From there we can start to look at some dynamic measurements hitting from a lie board with some sole tape on the golf club to confirm or to alter the specifications of the golf club.
The next step would be to synchronise the fitting with the golfers desired ball flight. Some people are unaware that a change to the specification of the golf club can change ball flight. This last step is important to make sure the golfer will feel comfortable on the golf course knowing that if they make a good swing then they will hit a good shot.
OPTIMIZER - ONE PICTURE, ALL THE ANSWERS
Using this technology we can track the full trajectory of any shot, from 6 foot pitches to 400 yard drives, pinpointing the landing position with an accuracy of less than 1 foot at 100 yards. The system can also display the shot’s 3D trajectory together with 26 impact and ball flight parameters in real time and the data is delivered within 1 second.
Below are examples of the key club and ball definitions you can track with TrackMan.
- SMASH FACTOR
- SPIN RATE
- LAUNCH ANGLE
- BALL SPEED
- CLUB SPEED
- DYNAMIC LOFT
- ATTACK ANGLE
- CLUB PATH
